Aliyah Clarke is an Associate at the Legal Consultancy having joined the firm in 2023. Her practice is currently in the areas of Real Estate and Wills & Probate. She also provides support to the firm’s Corporate and Commercial matters.

Aliyah attended the University of the West Indies (UWI), St. Augustine from 2015 to 2018 where she earned her Bachelor of Laws degree with Honours. Following this, she attended the Sir Hugh Wooding Law School (HWLS) where she graduated in 2020 on the Principal’s Honour Roll. During her time at HWLS, Aliyah was a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Clinic where she received certification for her training in mediation and negotiation.

In her effort to expand her legal knowledge, Aliyah is pursuing a Master of Laws degree at UWI with a focus on intellectual property law. She wrote an article titled “Neighboring Rights: Protecting the Life of the Party” that was published on the IP ArchIPelago, an intellectual property law website administered by UWI’s Faculty of Law.

After being called to the Bar of Trinidad and Tobago in 2020, Aliyah’s career concentrated on legal research and legal drafting for both non-contentious and contentious matters, acting as instructing attorney in civil litigation.

At the firm, she is responsible for the real estate transactions which include the preparation and negotiation of agreements for sale and the execution of conveyances, assignments, and mortgages for the firm’s commercial and residential clients.
