The central focus of The Legal Consultancy is to develop an in-depth understanding of our client’s business and to provide commercially focused, first class legal services. The Legal Consultancy’s approach is therefore intentionally quite different from traditionally law firms. Time is taken to fully understand the nature of the client’s enterprise. To that end, at no cost to the client, meetings are held with various arms of the business so as to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the client’s objectives and methods of operation.

The aim is to become an extension of the client’s in-house legal department or, if there is no in-house lawyer, to provide that service. This allows for prompt, commercially minded advice which details risks and suggests mitigation measures rather than a simple recital of the law and what it prohibits.
