Richard M. Beckles, Principal Consultant

Richard M. Beckles is the Principal Consultant at The Legal Consultancy which was established in September 2013. He is an Attorney-at-Law with significant energy and finance experience and is qualified in Trinidad and Tobago and the United Kingdom.

In the energy sector Richard has worked on all facets of upstream, midstream and downstream projects including gas and LNG projects in Trinidad  and Tobago, Egypt, Norway and the United Kingdom.

In the finance sector, Richard specializes in project and bank financing and has been involved in major project and capital market transactions in Trinidad and throughout the Caribbean.

Richard also specializes in M&A, due diligence, conveyancing, commercial and securities transactions and is recognized for his ability to bring a highly commercial and practical approach to advising clients and closing transactions.
